1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using SentryAfrica ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you (the "School" or "User") and WALGAB Career Ltd (SentryAfrica Technologies).
2. Description of Service
SentryAfrica provides a digital security and attendance management platform for educational institutions. The Service includes a web-based administrative dashboard, mobile applications for guardians and security personnel, and automated SMS notification features.
3. Subscription & Billing
- Termly Fees: Service charges are billed on a per-term basis (typically every 12-14 weeks). The specific billing date for each term will be communicated via the dashboard 7 days in advance.
- Pricing Plans:
- Standard Plan: ₦2,000 per pupil per term.
- Premium Plan: ₦4,000 per pupil per term (includes 10% discount).
Prices are subject to review with 30 days' notice.
- Wallet Funding: The "School Wallet" is separate from the subscription fee. Funds loaded into the wallet are used strictly for operational costs (e.g., SMS alerts, ID Card printing) and are non-refundable once purchased.
4. Pilot Program & Free Trial
For schools specifically onboarded under the SentryAfrica Pilot Program:
- 7-Day Free Access: Eligible schools are granted a 1-month (7-day) complimentary access period starting from their date of onboarding. During this period, no subscription fees will be charged.
- Automatic Transition: Upon the expiration of the 7-day trial, the account will automatically convert to a standard paid subscription.
- First Charge: Unless the service is cancelled at least 48 hours before the trial ends, the applicable Termly Subscription Fee will be automatically charged to the payment method on file.
- Cancellation: To avoid being charged, pilot participants must notify SentryAfrica administrators of their intent to discontinue service before the 7-day window expires.
5. Auto-Debit Authorization
To ensure uninterrupted service during the academic term:
- Authorization: By saving a payment card on the SentryAfrica platform, you explicitly authorize WALGAB Career Ltd to initiate a one-time debit for the agreed Termly Subscription Fee on the designated billing date.
- Tokenization: We do not store your card details directly. We utilize a secure token provided by our payment processor (Paystack) to effect these charges.
- Notification: You will be notified via email/SMS when an auto-debit is scheduled and when it is successfully processed.
- Failed Charges: If an automatic debit fails, we may retry the transaction. Continued failure to settle fees may result in service suspension.
6. User Responsibilities
Schools are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their admin credentials. Guardians are responsible for securing their mobile app login details. SentryAfrica is not liable for unauthorized pickups resulting from negligent sharing of credentials or QR codes.
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. SMS delivery is subject to telecommunication network availability and DND (Do Not Disturb) policies enforced by mobile networks.
8. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend access for any school found violating these terms. Specifically:
- Non-Payment: If subscription fees remain unpaid 14 days after the term start date (or trial expiration), access to the dashboard will be automatically suspended.
- Reactivation: Suspended accounts can be reactivated immediately upon settlement of outstanding fees.
