1. Information We Collect
- School Data: Names, addresses, and contact details of authorized administrators.
- Student Data: Names, classes, and photographs for identification purposes.
- Guardian Data: Names, phone numbers, and photographs for verification.
- Activity Logs: Timestamps of sign-ins, sign-outs, and pickup verification events.
2. How We Use Data
We use this data strictly to:
- Facilitate the secure pickup and drop-off of students.
- Send real-time SMS alerts to parents.
- Generate attendance reports for school administration.
- Process termly subscription payments via secure tokens.
We do not sell or share student data with advertisers or third parties.
3. Payment & Billing Data
To facilitate the "Auto-Debit" and "Termly Subscription" features:
- No Card Storage: SentryAfrica does not store your full credit/debit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers.
- Tokenization: We use Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant processor, to handle all transactions. When you save a card, Paystack provides us with a secure "Authorization Token."
- Usage of Tokens: We store only this token and the last 4 digits of your card (for display purposes). This token allows us to trigger the termly charge for which you have given authorization.
4. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard secure servers and strict access controls. Password hashes are used for all user accounts.
5. Third-Party Processors
We utilize trusted third-party providers for specific functions:
- Paystack: For secure payment processing and tokenization.
- Termii: For SMS delivery services.
- DigitalOcean: For secure cloud hosting.
6. Your Rights
Schools retain ownership of their data. Upon termination of service, you have the right to request a full export of your data and the deletion of your records from our servers, provided all outstanding subscription fees are cleared.
